Sungate Papaya Cornbread
1 1/2 cups cornmeal
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup melted butter
1 9 oz jar Maya Papaya Salsa (call 1-800-9 HEY-MON for info)
1 cup milk
Pre-heat oven to 425. Combine dry ingredients.
In a separate bowl, beat egg and combine with milk and melted butter,
stirring all the while. Combine with dry ingredients and add up to one full
jar of Maya Papaya Salsa to the mixture. Pour batter into greased pan and
bake on middle rack for 25 minutes. Serve hot.
