Sugar Cookies

(from More-with-Less Cookbook)

1 2/3 cup sugar
1 cup margarine
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup sour cream
2 tsp baking powder
8 cups flour

Cream sugar and margarine.  Add eggs and vanilla.
Stir in sour cream.
Stir in dry ingredients.
Chill dough. (We never have time so we skip this.)
Mix with your hands until dough is uniform consistency.
Roll dough 1/4 inch thick.  Sprinkle with sugar.
Cut into cookies.
Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes.
Recipe makes a lot of cookies, so cut it in half or
freeze half the dough.
